Male size (ca 55mm +-3mm) - large to medium size
Origin Sumatra (Indonesia)
Ideal temperature: Room temperature, max. 25°C. Humidity max. 70%
This species is night active. Make sure you have enough options to climb, because getting up by themselves is difficult. People may die after a couple of hours on their back!
Ideal breeding substrate: Flake Soil. Make sure that the minimum height is 25cm so the female can lay eggs. Additionally the box should have a minimum capacity of 15l for the flake soil + room to crawl and feed.
Shipping in winter incl. isolated packaging and heatpack. Please add a thermobox to your order.
Content: 1 male - German captive bred - large size
Species: Mecynorrhina torquata ugandensis (Moser 1907) - Colour may vary due to breeding in circulation. When ordering a preference can be given, which I will use if available. If not available, I will choose the colour myself.
40 hour warmer - for shipping live animals or plants.
The heatpack heats up by itself after opening. Do not place directly against the shipping boxes, as the heatpacks can get up to 65°C hot. A small ventilation hole in the thermobox/box is useful, as oxygen is also consumed.
Mandatory article for purchases of larvae and beetles for day temperatures below 10°C (in Germany and destination country)
Isolated styrofoam box incl. Heatpack, size differentiates. No matter the amount or quantity of beetles and larvae ordered you only need to purchase one thermo box.
