Ideal temperature: Room temperature, max. 25°C. Humidity max. 70%

This species is night active. Make sure you have enough options to climb, because getting up by themselves is difficult. People may die after a couple of hours on their back!

Ideal breeding substrate: Flake Soil. Make sure that the minimum height is 25cm so the female can lay eggs. Additionally the box should have a minimum capacity of 15l for the flake soil + room to crawl and feed. Unlike many giant beetles, the cocoons are laid vertically in the substrate.
