    ATTENTION: Shipping within Europe is possible if temperatures permit. Temperatures must be at least 10°C at night and 18°C during the day. Otherwise, a thermal box must also be ordered in which the animals are shipped.

    • West and Central Africa, especially Cameroon.

    Temperature:

    • 22–26 °C during the day, slight drop at night (~20 °C).

    • Humidity: 70–80%.

    Duration:

    • Development from egg to beetle: approx. 4–6 months.

    • Adult lifespan: 3–5 months.

    Raising Substrate:

    • Main components: Rotten leaves and white-rotten wood (oak or beech preferred).

    • Substrate thickness: At least 10–15 cm.

    Feeding:

    • Larvae: Substrate is sufficient.

    Reproduction:

    • Mating at optimal temperature and feeding conditions.

    • Females lay eggs in the substrate (min. 10 cm deep).

    Care Tips:

    • Change substrate every 2–3 months.

    • Enclosure size: At least 30 x 30 x 30 cm for one pair.

    • Ventilation: Sufficient but no drafts.
