    Species: Mecynorrhina torquata ugandensis (Moser 1907) - color may vary due to the breeds in circulation.

    Shipping in Europe possible if the temperatures inside allow it. Temperatures must be at least 10°C. At lower temperatures, a thermal box must be ordered.

    Easy to moderate beetle species to keep and breed, suitable for beginners with experience with rose beetles.

    The ideal temperature is room temperature. Maximum 25°C.

    The larvae need about 12-15 months to develop into the cocoon and then another 3 months in the cocoon. As soon as they turn yellow don't bother anymore, because then the cocoon construction begins.

    Please ensure that the adult beetles have sufficient climbing opportunities, as the animals find it difficult to get up on their own.
